Do you accept insurance?
The Place for Counseling does not accept insurance reimbursement. We are currently considered an out-of-network provider.
Sometimes insurance companies will provide reimbursement for out-of-network providers. You can contact customer service at your insurance provider to find out if you have out-of-network mental health outpatient benefits. We can provide you with a statement (“superbill”) that can be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
We have partnered with Mentaya health to be able to check your out of network benefits for our clients. If you decide on therapy with one of our licensed therapists, and you determine you do have out of network benefits, then Mentaya can file your insurance claims for you. Please call the office to check out of network benefits or for any questions.
If you find that you do have out of network benefits, and choose a pre licensed therapist, then we will gladly provide you with a receipt/Superbill with procedure/treatment codes so that you can attempt to receive reimbursement through your insurance company.
Some clients may choose to use flex spending accounts for financial assistance. We are happy to provide you a receipt with procedure/treatment codes for flex spending accounts, if needed.
What are your rates?
Our therapists are priced based on their education and experience and offer a range to choose from. Our sessions are priced from $110 to $250 per 50 minute session. Please call the office directly to inquire about rates for the service and/or therapist you are seeking.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Payments can be made at the time of service with cash or credit card.
What is your availability?
We are available for sessions Monday through Friday and Saturday hours. We offer morning, daytime, and evening sessions until 7pm as well as weekend hours to accommodate school and work schedules.
Cancellation Policy
If you are you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 48 hours ahead of time. Our late cancellation/ or no show fee is the full therapy rate. This is waived in cases of serious family or serious medical emergency.
